The Temple of Chaos is a location that appears in Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is an ancient Echidna structure on the Floating Island and the former resting place of the island's Chaos Emeralds.
History[]
The Temple of Chaos was the original home of Knuckles the Echidna's six Chaos Emeralds until he and Dr. Robotnik merged them with the six Chaos Emeralds taken from the Freedom Fighters. Robotnik soon tried absorbing the Chaos Emeralds' powers to turn into a God, only to be returned to Mobius after having his power drained by Knuckles.[1] Later, the Chaos Emeralds were moved from the Temple of Chaos into the Emerald Chamber.[2]
