Layout problems

<div class="messagebox cleanup metadata plainlinks"> and </div>

Okay after experiments, you've got layout problems related to these tags. Either the tags need changing or the template rethinking to remove them. Anyone intereasted in WHAT exactly their problem is, when this comes into contact with other template (i.e. personnel profile), it leaves a massive gap until it gets the first clear line. I found this when I tried to add a clean up template to Shadow's appearance on Shadow's page. I'm guessing this was copied straight from wikipedia am I right? Well there are problems when copying straight from there and this, sadly, is one of them. One-Winged Hawk 20:45, October 8, 2009 (UTC)

Put it before the Character template. Problem solved. -- Supermorff 21:05, October 8, 2009 (UTC)
  • Buzzer Noise* Ah-a wrong! That means the whole page gets labelled and thats not the point I'm trying to note. If I feel there is just oen section that needs adjusting, then the template isn't suitable. One-Winged Hawk 21:13, October 8, 2009 (UTC)
Ah, well then, if just one section needs cleanup, I suggest you don't use this template. -- Supermorff 21:37, October 8, 2009 (UTC)
Examing a stranger occurance on Sonic's page with another template, I stand corrected, it seems this may not be the problem. The problem might be the character profile template isntead. I'll look into it. Templates shouldn'tbe causing these problems, I suspect I may know whats going on but as of writing this I've yet to look into it. Its a process of elemination and until I find the one line of coding that causing this hassle, yeah its a bug.
If it is true, then this template is okay to be left alone. One-Winged Hawk 22:06, October 8, 2009 (UTC)

I do not agree with the phrase "quality standards" linking to Wikipedia. I feel that we should have our own set and not use Wikipedia's.--THE TROLL Thomas Michael William Patrick Sales Thetalktemplate TTT 13:00, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, this template is way out of date. This is such an eclectic wiki that we don't have (or need) a manual of style. What is this template actually for? -- Supermorff (talk) 13:13, March 30, 2012 (UTC)
It just means that pages tagged with it aren't written very well and need amendments to be made.--THE TROLL Thomas Michael William Patrick Sales Thetalktemplate TTT 15:09, March 30, 2012 (UTC)
Edit: just found Sonic News Network:Style. It should link to that.--THE TROLL Thomas Michael William Patrick Sales Thetalktemplate TTT 15:13, March 30, 2012 (UTC)
But that's the point. Our style guide doesn't contain quality standards. Is it about spelling? Linking format? Bad grammar? I think, if we're changing the template anyway, it should be more specific. -- Supermorff (talk) 10:04, March 31, 2012 (UTC)
