Team Dark is a group that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are a surgical strike team for Guardian Units for Nations whom are assigned for various assignments. They are essentially the Knothole Freedom Fighters of G.U.N.

History

Pre-Super Genesis Wave

Formation

Team Dark was slowly beginning to form right after E-123 Omega was recruited to G.U.N. With a mission to go to the Special Zone to retrieve a Chaos Emerald, Shadow the Hedgehog and Rouge the Bat had attempted to gather another emerald for G.U.N., but failed one of Feist's challenges. However, with some prep-talk from Hope Kintobor, Shadow decides to retry this challenge once again, albeit with Omega at their disposal. Team Dark had went in the Special Zone, asking for a retry from Feist, to which allowed them to face another one of his challenges. As they were almost successful at completing a challenge, to which they were a second away from gathering the emerald, Rouge had gave the command for Omega to shoot excessively at Feist, as Shadow and Rouge stole the emerald. The trio escaped, and they were successful on their first mission under the name of "Team Dark".
