Taxi Chao

Taxi Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance[]

Taxi Chao have yellow pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms nor feet have digits. They also have a white orb above their heads, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs. For attire, the Taxi Chao wears a yellow and black taxi driver's outfit, including a cap that says "TAXI" on it. It also has black sunglasses.

Overview[]

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Taxi Chao is a collectible pet of the "Epic" rarity, although it used to be "Legendary". It is obtainable in the Race Shop for 50 tickets in any wave that the Chao is included in. However, it also used to be available on the spin wheel.

In gameplay, Taxi Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Taxi Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Taxi Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Taxi Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Taxi Chao by collecting five Taxi Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Taxi Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities[]

Taxi Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
