Tank is a Gear Part that appears in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. It is an Extreme Gear component that refills the player's GP Gauge.

Tank is an installable performance-enhancing component for Extreme Gears. Its actual appearance is unknown, though it is presented as an icon on the head-up display in the top-left corner of the game screen. Its icon is a light blue-colored circle with a black cylinder, which has a label with a black swirl on it, inscribed in it.

In the game, Tank is permanently installed into only certain Extreme Gears. When used, Tank instantly refills the player's GP Gauge completely. This can only be done once per Tank Gear Part, however.

In gameplay, Tank and its ability will be disabled when starting a new race. To activate Tank, the player must press one of the following buttons after collecting a certain number of Rings:

PS2 Wii (remote) - sideways Wii (remote) - forward Wii (Nintendo GameCube Controller)
PSTriangleButton WiiDSA Up on Controlpadds Gamecube Y Button

When activating Tank, the player's Rings will be reduced accordingly by the number needed to enable it and the Extreme Gear is surrounded by an orange void, indicating the Gear Part's ability is in effect. The following Extreme Gears come equipped with the Tank:

Name Activation requirements
Reserve Tank First: 20 Rings
Second: 40 Rings
Third: 60 Rings
