Not neccessarily Emerald Coast

The picture was found and now everybody thinks its Emerald Coast. But what if it's Neo Green Hill Zone? Or Wave Ocean? If there is an official source than tell me, but otherwise, I don't think it should be put in the article as Emerald Coast yet.

This does sound like a very interesting game. I can't wait to see what the game looks like when it's finished! I'm so excited! Hopefully Modern Sonic doesn't die or something like that. Or even worse, classic Sonic dies! If he dies, then Modern Sonic doesn't exist anymore! And if Modern Sonic dies, then Classic Sonic won't have a future, and he'll know that he's going to die in the future! How horrible! SEGA, please don't let someone die! Fate is already sad as it is. Role of Silver and Shadow

Okay, many people have made these mistakes on Sonic Stadium, Sonic Retro, Youtube, DeviantART and even here so I will finally answer:

• They will not be co-op players

• They will be boss-fights

• The Sonics will fight them because they are in their past versions not the present. Present versions are most likely not in the game at all.

Both actually. i saw on the Non playable characters Amy(Classic and Modern) and This is the first game that Classic Sonic Tails and Amy are rendered in CGI at the trivia.

More Info *Possible Spoilers*

Recently, the game is finally in it's final form which means it's complete now and no longer under-development, perhaps. Since two events are coming very near this week. I have a little information for you guys about possibly the story. I found this info months ago and a few just recently:

• Time Eater is only a boss fight, not the villain. Many people make this mistake.
• The person who brought Sonic back in time is not one person. I read that the source says that it is a "force" and the source mentions that the enemy is "they". So more than one new villain.
• Though there is no reason given as to why "they" are doing this, I can confirmed that they only want to change Sonic's timeline not the whole world. Just Sonic's.
• Here is a very vague hint about something: DELETECHILDACTOR is all I could read.
• The main villain is a life-form. So you can guess on what he/she would look like.
• The Chaotix will not have their classic forms. Their Classic forms are not canon to the universe. So, canonically, they first appeared in Sonic Heroes. Many people make this mistake as well.
• I could not read Amy's past form.
• Possibility, same goes with Knuckles. But there is a chance, a small one that we will be seeing his classic form.
• When unlocking your friends, you unlock keys that lead you to bosses ("Boss Keys"). And those keys will be represented in your collection room, where the information is there to whatever you have unlocked.
• Every boss will have one mission.
• CG cutscenes have names. For example, the cutscene after the opening is called "White World".
• There are "events" in the game.

You mis-typed life form in bold. DeleteChildActor... does that mean something to do with the voice actors? So basically, with the friends one, more friends, farther progression in the game(because of thse Boss Keys you mentioned). Cutscenes having names isn't new, we've had them for a long time. It doesn't have anything to do with voice actors, likely. Not every game has cutscene names. Basically, "they" are changing Sonic's timeline, since Sonic's friends and foes are a part of his past so they will be captured and foes will fight him again.--58SlugDrones • (Contact) 05:43, September 12, 2011 (UTC)

Yes they do. I have played and beaten them. In fact, I know what one of them IS called, from Rush Adventure, for an example. Cutscene 22 in Sonic Rush Adventure is named "This is Blaze's world!" and Sonic Colours(the version I own is DS, so I'll go with that) Cutscene 7(for DS) is called "Yacker's Plea" so they have had names. I got new information I searched myself. And there is bad news (well, for me):

• Classic Eggman will not appear in both versions this is confirmed
• I read a source that was directly translated from JP to ENG and I read something: "The mysterious enemy suddenly appeared, a birthday should be fun, the worst day ...?" was written in Sonics data. Birthday? Hm....
• The Time Eater you saw in the 3DS version is not going to be in the console versions (because it is secret). Consider this 100% confirmed.
• The game will have 7 main characters.

A few questions

Ok in an earlier post 58 you said the bosses like Shadow,Silver etc would not be playable now you say they will have one mission...Am I mistaking the 1 mission as a co-op mission...Or is it something completly different.Ok what exactly does 7 main charecters mean? Bosses will have missions, but the missions are just the same but in "Hard Mode". Perhaps 7 are important to the story not playable. Time Eater is a new life-form monster creature. I read from a source that there are more than one people trying to alter only Sonic's past, present and future. But it could be false. Come on SEGA!

Why can't they just put in more mandheld stages instead of all this console stage rubbbish. They said it would represent the handheld games' history, and now we have mostly console stages!! First Casino Night, bearable. Then Mushroom HIll, fine. Then Emerald Coast, no I'm getting angry, but it could work. BUt now radical Highway?! I think this section is getting out of hand. It's been guaranteed since the beginning that SEGA made Sonic Generations simply for the fans, and they try to listen to the fans as much as possible... And the problem is this: you guys are rushing them! Look what happened to Sonic 2006, in which Microsoft and Sony rushed SEGA, making that title feel incomplete and forgettable. There are some people who still enjoy that game to this day, but I never saw any appeal. Sonic Generations is going to be released in two more months (well, "1 1/2"?), to which the company might have some more time to spare. Overall... {sighs} I just wish Genesjs were here to settle this down.

How do you know that? Besides, the port could most likely not happen, and the space inbetween those games in terms of time is quite long, a big amount of years.

You guys have probably never played it. I've played Advance 1, and both Rush games. Dimps is not cheap at making them. In fact, they are great games. They'll probably put a stage in.

To be honest i dont really care about the 3DS but thats mainly because i dont have one. But why are you all complaining over a stupid thing? besides didnt the Homing attack come from a CLASSIC game? does anyone remember Sonic 3D Blast? (and Also Classic Robotnik will appear in both verisons. Big arm has Dr Robotnik plotting it and the consoles has him on a signpost)

Wait, I'm not getting this at all... Is this the last Sonic game, or is this jerk referring only to Classic Sonic as "Sonic" and Modern Sonic as "impostor" and claiming that this is the last "Sonic" game?

There are no "generations", so I'll assume you mean era. The Sonic games weren't actually divided up into three eras when they were made, they only made the eras to divide all the games into three categories. Myself 123 14:54, September 21, 2011 (UTC)

Eggman (Modern only?)

Why does it only say under non-playable that Eggman will only be in his modern form, when on Eggman's article, it implies that we will see Classic Eggman, and also on the Big Arm page, which has concept art of Big Arm for generations, with classic Eggman clearly at the controls? Can someone clear this up for me?

Ok, in the article, it says that they will have "voiceovers" for a lot of different languages. Does that mean that all the voiceovers will be on the game, or only in a specific region? I hope it means that they will all be on there, because I like Sonic's Japanese voice better than his new voice actor. If not, I'll live. Sonic and the secret rings

Why does that one trailer include sonic and the secret rings levels? as far as i know its not a main series game and it doesnt have any of its levles confirmed, so why? -14sonicstar

Ok, I don't know who did it, but someone said that the theme song for Sonic Generations will be "Tenderoni". You DO know what it means, right? For those of you who don't, it means that an older male/female is in love with a younger male/female and wants to date him/her and vice versa. I personally think that this song would be a bad choice because Sonic is older and younger in this game, and I'm pretty sure that they are not in love.
