Photos?[]

I suggest if that if there are any photos available on this topic, that they should be posted on this page. It's just a suggestion. --Shadow the Hedgehog Befriend me... Or perish at my feet! 20:57, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Roboticization in Sonic Lost World? Seriously?[]

If you haven't already, see it for yourself. Tails can't of been roboticized, seeing as He did not look like Mecha Tails. Also, SEGA has not confirmed that it is roboticization (it is likely a mix between the two, as in Legionization) Excluding Sonic Chronicles, (developed by backbone studios, guys who read the comics most likely) Roboticization has NEVER been done in Japanese canon. SnufflesTheDog (talk) 19:14, January 20, 2014 (UTC)

It's not strictly roboticization, however Zavok clearly states that he intends to turn Tails into a robot, even if he doesn't look like a typical robot (it doesn't even appear he has been turned into a cyborg) I still think it's noteworthy to keep the information on the page as long as it's clearly noted that it's not actually referred to as roboticization. But the process seen in LW is not roboticization in any sense of the word since it doesn't actually turn people into robots, it merely adds cybernetic attachments. At worst, it turns people into cyborgs. - Reddez (talk) 15:21, January 19, 2015 (UTC)

Robotizer[]

Should we keep that? I'm pretty sure that's just a writing error. Maybe instead we should put Bem Roboticizer or something.--Mike Gilbert 00:57, May 26, 2014 (UTC)

It's not up to us to judge whether creators made a mistake. That's just how it was written in the comic. -- Supermorff (talk) 08:45, May 26, 2014 (UTC)
Doesn't sound that much important. What doesn't anyone else think?--Mike Gilbert 20:23, June 11, 2014 (UTC)

Unnecessary article?[]

Sonic Spinball has the Veg-O-Machine, Sonic Chronicles has the Eggman Device and Sonic Lost World has an unnamed machine that functions differently from both. So why do we have a game-universe page titled "Roboticizer"? IndigoPengi (talk) 14:56, 26 March 2021 (UTC)

Well, the article started out as one common term for all roboticizers across all Sonic continuities. However, when I split it into the different roboticizers for each continuity, we were left with the "Roboticizer" article and a few game appearances. And with Roboticization confirmed in the mainstream series, i believed we needed a roboticizer for it. I asked User:Myself 123 if it was okay we kept the article under its current name despite technically only having the device seen in Sonic Lost World for it, and he said it was okay. I still believe that it could be useful, as we have an actual device in the mainstream series that turns organic beings into robots (okay more akin to cyborgs, but the roboticizer in Sonic Underground did the same, and it still counts).Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 17:24, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
I feel like if this article was created today ("The Roboticizer is a device that appears in Sonic Lost World...") it would be immediately deleted or renamed. It's not the same thing depicted in the TV show and it has no relation to the devices in Sonic Spinball or Sonic Chronicles, which have their own articles anyway.
