Anyway, I don't really feel comfortable calling the ruby incorporated into Infinite a Prototype unless we know for sure that it is one. Wikification (talk) 14:47, November 9, 2017 (UTC)

@Wikification: I know it was found outside his base, but I’m referring to by the end of Sonic Forces. Was it destroyed? Does Eggman still have it? I was thinking it was in the Death Egg Tobit Powering the prototypes. Diamonddeath (talk) 22:44, November 9, 2017 (UTC)

Sonic Forces Speed Battle

What's the source confirming this? I haven't seen any mention of the Phantom Ruby being in this game. Myself 123 22:28, September 12, 2017 (UTC)

Here's a screenshot confirming the Ruby's presence in the game. GuKeltke (talk) 22:50, September 12, 2017 (UTC)

Phantom Ruby Sonic Forces Speed Battle

"Prototype" eh? I guess that explains why it looks nothing like the original. Myself 123 23:00, September 12, 2017 (UTC)

Parallel Dimension?

Where is it confirmed that Sonic Forces is a parallel dimension to Sonic Mania? In this article, it says that the Phantom Ruby ended up in a parallel dimension where Eggman found it. Diamonddeath (talk) 23:23, November 7, 2017 (UTC)

Tails and Eggman both explicitly mention that "Classic Sonic" hailed from an alternate dimension, and since that Sonic is heavily implied to have come there via the Phantom Ruby, that means the Phantom Ruby was from an alternate dimension as well. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 23:51, November 7, 2017 (UTC)
Well, although I believe it goes without saying that the Phantom Ruby did originate in Classic Sonic's world, there's no information which fully confirms that the Mania ruby and Forces ruby are one and the same. Wikification (talk) 00:10, November 8, 2017 (UTC)

That’s really weird. Another dimension? Sonic Generations clearly establishes the two as the same dimension but different timelines. Either Sonic Generations caused a timeline split, it’s not the same Classic Sonic, or they meant alternate timeline and said dimension. Diamonddeath (talk) 04:16, November 8, 2017 (UTC)

That wasn't speculation

Iizuka confirmed that Maina and Forces were connected here: https://youtu.be/213YuG7gqLQ?t=51m59s (Thank you DeCool). Then Tails and Eggman confirm this yet again within the actual game with their dialogue. As well as the fact that it's also stated to have come into Mania via Dimensional Disturbance. And then we also have the fact that Classic Sonic is there at all (and he has a very similar coloring to when he was in Mania). On top of that the Comic also has the Ruby appear mysteriously in front of the Arsenal-- My point is, we have plenty of evidence and the word-of-god confirming this, so therefore it is not speculation. Zack1stplayer (talk) 07:55, November 8, 2017 (UTC)

True dat. Also Classic Sonic struck the position in both games (well, in Forces, it's in the Trailer though). FredCat 11:34, November 8, 2017 (UTC)
I think we have all the evidence now that the game is out. That was the only thing we needed before we could go about making assumptions.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 11:39, November 8, 2017 (UTC)
It's never said where the Phantom Ruby in Forces came from though. Myself 123 14:38, November 8, 2017 (UTC)
That's true - Eggman just picked it up outside his HQ in fourth Sonic Forces comic. But granted that Classic Sonic popped out from the Dimension Portal in Sonic Forces game, I am sure Phantom Ruby would do the same, but in front of Eggman's HQ. FredCat 15:42, November 8, 2017 (UTC)

Could Cubot's Spooky Sapphire be a Pokémon reference?

Cubot's first name suggestion for the Phantom Ruby was the Spooky Sapphire this pairing sounds very similar to the pairing of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (both being Pokémon titles), I'd hope that it was another reference but I don't know if there's any way to confirm this. It might be a nod to the Pokémon franchise or it might be coincidence. Idk though. Zack1stplayer (talk) 21:39, November 8, 2017 (UTC)

Phantom Ruby Prototype

I've been reading the article and I'm curious. If the ruby that Infinite was incorporated with the final copy made by Eggman, then why is it still called the Phantom Ruby Prototype? It wouldn't be a prototype if it was the finished version, right? (Unless Eggman gave up on making an exact copy.) Wikification (talk) 03:04, November 9, 2017 (UTC)

Perhaps it's the closest to perfect copy of original Phantom Ruby, only in different shape and size. After many attempts of making the clones of Phantom Ruby, it's bound to happening. FredCat 03:25, November 9, 2017 (UTC)

Wait, so then what happened to the original Phantom Ruby? I was kind of under the impression that the one the Avatar used was the original, and the perfect one created by Eggman was stronger than the original. Diamonddeath (talk) 10:02, November 9, 2017 (UTC)

Oh wait, Eggman used it to power that Death Egg Robot, which in turn powered the Phantom Ruby and it’s perfected prototype, right? Was it destroyed during the final battle? Diamonddeath (talk) 10:11, November 9, 2017 (UTC)
Yeah, and that was what ended Infinite's life from what I could suspected. FredCat 11:21, November 9, 2017 (UTC)

Infinite isn't a illusion created by the ruby, so there's a chance he might be still alive.
@Diamonddeath It was reveal in the Sonic Forces short comics that Eggman found the Phantom Ruby half buried in the ground just outside his bases entrance. Wikification (talk) 14:26, November 9, 2017 (UTC)
