Gameplay Pics needed

I think it would be hard to get a good picture since all videos of gameplay has a face cam on it -SundaeCheks

Level theme

Obviously, the level is a desert themed level but it also looks like an amusement themed level, because of the pinball gimmicks, what do you think? - SundaeCheks

I'm not sure, it's not really built around amusements, it just has some gimmicks that usually appear in amusement-themed levels. Personally, I wouldn't consider it an amusement-themed level. Myself 123 21:52, October 27, 2016 (UTC)

"The theme is highly varied and levels may include balloons, theme park rides, pinball-style flippers or casino-style gambling games." from the Amusement theme's page. Mirage Saloon technically has these -sundaecheks

On a side note, why isn't there a western theme, and what other theme would Mirage Saloon fall under? It seems like the saloon itself is a massive bar... SnufflesTheDog, proud creator of Flying Garden and master of Sonic 2 and 3! (talk) 04:55, June 18, 2017 (UTC)

More than an illusion?

So we know the appearance of the Hooligans during the boss battle is just the Heavy Magician morphing herself into them, but what about the cutscene at the end of Act 1? The Heavy Magician is typically surrounded by a purple cloud which remains when she transforms, but this cloud is absent during this cutscene. I think it's possible that this is a genuine appearance of these three characters. Myself 123 20:59, August 16, 2017 (UTC)

UPDATE: Replaying the boss, I've realised that given enough time, the magic cloud disappears, so it is possible that it is just the Heavy Magician during the cutscene. Myself 123 22:09, August 16, 2017 (UTC)
It's gotta be her. I do not think Bean would just appear out of nowhere like that. DeCool99 (talk) 22:20, August 16, 2017 (UTC)
Well there is all the wanted poster plastered around the zone, it's possible they've been running amock there for some time. I will admit though that it's most likely that it is just the Heavy Magician; that cloud thing was all I really had. Also, Fang can show up there isntead of Bean and I assume Bark can too, it seems to be completely who shows up though. Myself 123 22:31, August 16, 2017 (UTC)

It's not confirmed whether or not the hooligan who appears at the start of the level is real, or just the Magician, so it should be left ambiguous. We have it outright stated that it was the Magician currently, which is speculation.--Neffyarious (talk) 22:00, September 9, 2017 (UTC)

It is pretty obvious that it is the Magician. It makes no sense that these characters just pop out of nowhere, and are suddenly associated with Eggman's badniks. It is a thing where the game wants us to put two and two together.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 22:06, September 9, 2017 (UTC)
You mean like Metal Sonic's transformation in Chaotix? Oh wait.... apparently that's not a "case of putting two and two together" but this one is, seems kinda hypocritical.--Neffyarious (talk) 23:16, September 9, 2017 (UTC)
Might as well just ask the creators themselves if you want confirmation. They're easier to contact in comparison to those of KC DeCool99 (talk) 23:19, September 9, 2017 (UTC)
I ain't the one that needs to ask the creators for confirmation, you are. You need the confirmation to put the info on the page, in the absence of proof you should be ambiguous. See, your speculating by putting the info on the page - sure from someone's point of view it might be "obvious, a case of putting two and two together" or whatever - but the Chaotix point is the same - in fact its actually more legit as its backed up by secondary sources calling it a transformation - unlike this, which has no official confirmation whatsoever.--Neffyarious (talk) 23:25, September 9, 2017 (UTC)
