Townsperson

Where was it said that she's a townsperson?Yahyanime (talk) 17:11, January 21, 2017 (UTC)

This fact was stablished long ago by a trusted user and remained there for years afterwards.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 22:06, January 21, 2017 (UTC)
And yet there's no source from anything in the game or otherwise present to support such a very visibly questionable statment. It either needs a source or her species should just remain as unknown or "wizard"Yahyanime (talk) 22:34, January 21, 2017 (UTC)
There may be other sources relating to this fact, sources that we do not know about. Believe me, I have tried looking into this, but I believe it is best not to interfere with this before all sources has been examined. This is also regarding the fact that this user may know something we others don't. Also, considering that the only other residents in this world are townspeople, this may not be an entirely outrageous claim. The last place on any official sources I have not researched is the Japanese website (and I cannot read Japanese).Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 22:43, January 21, 2017 (UTC)
Of course it's likely that there is perhaps a source that says this, but if it's not given, then the information can't be trusted. Heck, you often get upset with me when I don't source VERY obvious things that we know of pretty well, so why should Merlina's species, which is unconfirmed, go unsourced? And I don't think saying that all the other residents being townspeople is a justifiable reason, as not only are their anthros (who clearly aren't Townspeople), but Merlina looks nothing like them to begin with, and appears more as an elf if anything. In any case, who was the user who alledgedly found out she was a Townsperson? Yahyanime (talk) 22:56, January 21, 2017 (UTC)
I am just being careful. I will not have an error like this on my consciousness if it turns out to be correct if there perhaps is a source that says this. And in regards to opinions about this, whether the answer seems obvious or not, it does not matter what we think seems possible: the sources have the final word. Like I said, the Japanese site is the only official source left I have not researched: if that does not state this outright either, then I will concede. As for who wrote this, it was User:Molten Scandium, a former Bureaucrat.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 23:07, January 21, 2017 (UTC)
