Do we really need seperate pages for these moves? They're the same move and the manual lists them as Fire Dunk. Myself 123 14:52, August 6, 2012 (UTC)

I am well aware of that. However, they are in game refered to by different names. Also, while Fire Dunk is the name given in the manual, it is in the game stated that it is only the name of Team Sonic's version of this technique, which means we there do not have an overall Name for this type of move. I know this comment won't change your mind, but I think that until we can find a collective term for this move, I think they shoud stay seperate.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 15:05, August 6, 2012 (UTC)

Fire Attack? Fire Throw? Fire Bullet? Fireball Attack? Tell me if I'm getting close... I say we go with Fireball Attack, since in all four teams, the other two members are indeed fireballs. And it's an...attack. So what do ya say?

I may be stubborn here, and I am sorry about that, but I still think that it is a gamble. We would just create misleading infomation. I rewrote the Fire Launcher Article because that was what they called team Dark's version of it and therefore was misleading. I hoped that they had a collective terns, but when I checked everywhere, both on Sonic Retro and by playing the game myself, I understood they had different names, and without an official collective term, putting for example Fire Launcher, Jump Fire Jump, Jump Fireball AND Fire Dunk under the collective name "Fire Dunk" it would be just as misleading as it was before.

Also, to give an example of identical attack that have different names and users, think of the Screw Kick and the Spiral Upper. They are the same, with the only difference being Knuckles using his fist while Rouge uses her feets, but we still treat them differently. Then there is the Drill Drive and the Drill Claw, same case. Then there is the upgrades; many of them do the same as the other but we still treat them differently.
