I have to ask, given this is a power rather than a character or the like... is "skin" or "eyes" really necessary?--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 04:54, September 19, 2013 (UTC)
- It is neither a power of a character. It is a transformation. It is Sonic, but he has a different, has different abilties, looks different and is called something else, just like Super Sonic, therefore it is a transformation. And given that the infobox for transformation has different fields, we should try to fill them out at any chance we get.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 09:23, September 19, 2013 (UTC)
- Bingo. The Ivory Lightning is the transformation/Color Power caused by the Hyper-go-on energy of the Ivory Wisp. -- Shadowunleashed13 (talk) 12:44, September 19, 2013 (UTC)
But... I'm not entirely sure they qualify as an actual transformation. His body changes sure, but I certainly wouldn't put it in the same class as Super Sonic or Werehog. Besides, "Ivory Lightning" is not the name of Sonic in this form; it's the name of the power itself. These things are more like the use of a Fire Flower from the Mario series, which isn't a proper "transformation" but rather a visual representation of the power in-use.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 03:26, September 20, 2013 (UTC)
- I agree with you there, the name is more in the class of a power. However, it is a very fitting case for a transformation as well, regardless of name, so to improve its quality, it would make sense to add a template of this kind. Like you, I wish only to present best fitting material, and in my view, while I agree that this is a power, there has also occured a transformation of Sonic here, which alters his attibutes, so it seems only fitting that it is presented as such.
- If it is important, how about altering the beginning content so it sounds more like a power, but still make it clear that it is also a transformation; like an attackinfobox and a description split like this:
Description[]
Physical Appearance[]
Powers and Abilities[]
