I think this needs a disambiguation, or at least a mention that there is another enemy with the same name, found in Sonic Unleashed. I've seen many Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Generations pages link to this "Egg Shooter" page to refer to those enemies, but this one is about Sonic Advance 2's final boss. 98.112.18.110 01:47, October 9, 2012 (UTC)

First I think we need pages on those other enemies, because I don't think we have them yet. I couldn't find them. -- Supermorff (talk) 09:29, October 9, 2012 (UTC)

Where do they appear in the 360 & PS3 versions?[]

Can we please be more descriptive to where the Egg Shooter appears in Sonic Unleashed's 360 & PS3 counterparts? Because I only see Rooftop Run & the finally established Eggmanland as where they appear in, when I don't see the Egg Shooter mentioned in the former itself. Just a suggestion, since it's an underrated Badnik in the Eggster's army.Macdawg (talk) 22:19, August 15, 2019 (UTC)

Egg Shooter in Sonic Forces?[]

I have a weird feeling that's been bugging me for 2 years since Eggman finally established the Eggman Empire, and then lost the whole world to the evil Resistance afterwards. The Silver Egg Pawns having gatling guns for hands, so doesn't that make them Egg Shooters? Because Aero-Chaser got changed into an Egg Pawn body style in Colors, Forces Speed Battle and Forces, so shouldn't we merge that Silver Egg Pawn Forces information with this article? Granted, all I have are my suspisons and if you think it's unfounded speculation, that's fine I'll respect that. But if any of you think it's true, that's good. Hope we can see some more Badniks in the IDW comic series, and solve the Sweeper/Sweep and Hoverby/Pata-Bata/Hoverby Mk II Crisis. Bye!Macdawg (talk) 19:42, February 20, 2019 (UTC)

In my opinion, I wouldn't say that just because they have guns that they are egg shooters. I can see your logic, but if it's already confirmed that bots in forces are just redesigns of egg pawns, then I would only consider the silver ones as a variation. That's just at a glance though, and I haven't done any deep digging to check for sources or anything. ~Vera (Message me) 19:53, February 20, 2019 (UTC)
The only similarities are very thin. There are many variants of the Egg Pawn, I see no reason to compare these two. Myself 123 00:06, October 22, 2019 (UTC)
Eh, true. Guess it's just best to clarify Sweeper/Sweep's Sonic Mania stuff, along with unifying Hoverby and Pata-Bata's information into one. (Since the former is one and the same. I've heard whispers on the Spriters Resource that Sweep is Sweeper, just with a Classic Sonic design. https://www.spriters-resource.com/pc_computer/sonicmania/sheet/95432/ Just something to think about to put this debate of this Sonic Adventure E-Series Badnik to an end. Macdawg (talk) 01:29, October 22, 2019 (UTC)
There is no debate. Myself 123 11:53, October 22, 2019 (UTC)
You may think there's no debate, but there is. https://sonic.fandom.com/wiki/Talk:Sweep & https://sonic.fandom.com/wiki/Talk:Sweeper I've been trying to help this Badnik's information be one and complete, but DeCool99 keeps overriding it, saying they're two different Badniks, when in reality, they're one and the same. It's also just like the Hoverby/Pata-Bata debacle. (Two seemingly different Badniks that are actually one and the same, just designed differently, but people still stick to the "entirely different" lie.) I've added Merge templates and it's time to end it so we can be ready for Chapter 3 of Whisper and Tangle's story. Please keep that in mind. Macdawg (talk) 19:20, October 22, 2019 (UTC)
What I mean is that there's nothing to the debate. You have no proof that Sweep and Sweeper are the same robot. Someone acting as if they're the same on another website is not proof of anything. The "Mk.II" part implies an upgraded variant, not the same robot. Myself 123 19:27, October 22, 2019 (UTC)
The Hoverby may have just been retconned since it appeared alongside the Antons (A fellow Palmtree Panic Badnik) in IDW Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 5. And Sweeper and Sweep skate on the water stabbing Sonic/Classic Sonic in Dreamcast, 3DS and 16-bit Sonic Mania graphics. You just have to learn that when they have the same name in Japanese and/or English, it's the truth. And if that ain't good for the fans, I don't know what is. Macdawg (talk) 19:35, October 22, 2019 (UTC)
"May have" is speculation and IDW is not canon to the games. There are plenty of robots that do similar things to another, it does not make them the same robot. Myself 123 19:41, October 22, 2019 (UTC)
