Under trivia, it says that Gamma does not have a character theme song in Sonic Adventure. Well, what do you call the song that played at the credits? He dosen't have a vocal theme song.

My Dreamcast burnt out before I could finish his story, so I wouldn't know. Plus, I'm still working on buying Director's Cut so I may find out. -- Shelly the Hedgehog 03:59, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

This seems to be pretty much dead but, I have Sonic Adventure and a Dreamcast, both functional, so I could check it out. Be the first time I actually paid attention to the music.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 22:46, September 4, 2009 (UTC)

Another piece of interesting trivia that I just want to say (not suggesting it be placed): Speaking of being a possible Metroid reference, as well as Gamma's theme, listen to the Metroid theme (the one that plays on the title screen of the original) and remember that three-note motive. Then listen to Gamma's theme. At one point, a synthesizer plays out a set of three notes that sounds quite similar to the Metroid motive, just faster and slurred. However, to be quite honest, that is probably a coincidence; the Metroid theme's three-note motive is just that--three notes. One could argue the order, the direction they go (as in, starting, then up, then down, as opposed to starting and going different ways but the same distances), the intervals (those distances), anything, but the fact of the matter is that it's three notes and could be repeated anywhere by accident without intending to reference Metroid. But for thought, no? --FT 00:07, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

Power Type?

How do we know that Gamma is a Power Type? I ask not only because it says so on his page, but I also want to put him in my forum game Sonic Slammers, and need to know that for sure. I'm just saying, we don't know for sure, do we?--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 21:26, September 4, 2009 (UTC)

To answer your question im pretty sure Gamma is power because he has bulky gameplay mechanics and was replaced by the shooter machines in Sonic Adventure 2 so yeah!I believe his brother would be flight or speed but not Gamma.--Famotill 21:32, September 4, 2009 (UTC)Famotill

True but the shooter parts in SA2 can't be classified as a type. Plus, how could Omega be anything other than Power? Gamma just seems too, "small", I think the word is.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 21:37, September 4, 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure but Omega replaced Gamma cause at the end of Adventure Gamma Died so i think he's power. If not he is flight deffinetly not speed though.I understand what you mean about being small but that's cause he's an earlier design. And i know the shooters don't have classes but they are in battle so that is implying there power type.--Famotill 21:40, September 4, 2009 (UTC)Famotill

Wait, what? You lost me on that.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 21:43, September 4, 2009 (UTC)

Gamma died at the end of Sonic Adventure and let out that bird.In Adventure 2 he was replaced by the Machines. In heroes he was replaced by Omega who was power leading me to believe Gamma was as well.--Famotill 21:50, September 4, 2009 (UTC)Famotill

Yeah, but what I'm thinking about is how different they are. It's pointed out in Sonic Universe (Yes I know, comic book) by Gamma himself just how different they are.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 21:54, September 4, 2009 (UTC)

Yeah you got a point so what i'm thinkin one of two things.

1.He was an early prototype of Omega and was built smaller if he was to go against sonic.

2.He is a flight type and him and Omega have nothing to do with each other(I think Gammas brother was speed and flight cause at the final boss fight in Adventure with Gamma he faces his brother he is pretty quick if your not careful!--Famotill 22:03, September 4, 2009 (UTC)Famotill

Actually, Omega (at least in the games) was made to guard Shadow and take him down if he was ever released. So, I'd say that they have nothing to do with each other. By the way, I know full well how tough Beta Mk II is.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 22:48, September 4, 2009 (UTC)

I belive that gamma is more of a fly type given his ability to endlesly hover over water and the fact that he flew off the falling egg carrier. Also, a Sonic Battle minigame has gamma flying. Of course Gamma hasn't been in a game with different types. Myself 123 21:18, September 16, 2009 (UTC)

P.S. I belive Gamma is taller than Omega.

Yup, he's taller but Omega's more powerful

Theme song

Most of us know that Gamma is the only character in Sonic Adventure not to have a theme song, but I'd like to know the song that plays during the credits at the end of his story. -- Shelly the Hedgehog Amy to ShellyI'm not a monkey! 03:20, May 11, 2010 (UTC)

Um..... Huh, I dunno. Maybe I should dust off my dreamcast and find out...--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 03:26, May 11, 2010 (UTC)

Or maybe I could locate my copy of SADX and find out myself. I recall someone on this Wiki stating it's title, but I can't remember who OR where. -- Shelly the Hedgehog Amy to ShellyI'm not a monkey! 04:00, May 11, 2010 (UTC)

I have a copy of SADX and Gamma does have a theme. It's not vocal, but it's still a theme in my opinion. CamerontheFox88 (talk) 22:45, July 22, 2012 (UTC)

I think that Gamma looks awesome and should be a toy. Those that agree with me should plan an e-mail or letter to SEGA and the toy manufactures and propose one.

ReSaurus already made one. See File:9221 1.JPG. -- Supermorff 19:24, July 12, 2010 (UTC)

No Lyrics?

In the trivia it says that Gamma's theme has no lyrics in it and while I used to think the same, I just recently came accross a video of the theme on Youtube (Link) and listeneed to it with my headphones (very high quality headphones) and I could hear some lyrics in the background at some points, I couldn't really make out what the lyrics were because the voice had been modified to sound more mechanical and techno, none the less, they sounded like vocals from what I could hear. What do you guys think? Should we remove that form the trivia? 12:36, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

Yes there are background voices but they're not considered lyrics

Then I think the background voice at least worth mentioning in the trivia fact that says he has no lyrics. 14:55, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

Unknown name?

The triva section mentions how Sonic, Amy, & Tails all suddenly learn Gamma's name in Sonic Battle, when Eggman calls him up to kill them, he specificly says Gamma, that is how they know Gamma's name in Sonic Battle, but that doesn't explain Knuckles sudden knowledge of Gamma's name.

Sonic Adventure 2

Has anyone noticed that, in the pyramid cave stage, the enemies in the stage resemble Gamma?

Michael the Fox: I'm all for Rainbow Dash and Sonic! :) 05:16, March 23, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, lyrics

i listened EXTREMELY close to the beggining of his song, and there seems to be some slurred voice saying "eggman"

06 lover

That doesn't count as lyrics. Myself 123 02:00, November 15, 2012 (UTC)

Hold on, i thought this guy is a heroe. why is he an anti-heroe?

06 lover

Antihero typically means that the character is not the hero in a conventional sense, but TBH, I'm not sure where he lies on the hero/antihero line. Myself 123 02:10, November 15, 2012 (UTC)

I agree with the earlier guy who mentioned lyrics. i too litened again, this time even closer, and it seems that there are lyrics. and i mean actual lyrics, tough it is hard to hear. ill see if i could put it to any higher definition to see what they were singing.

06 lover

I still would'nt consider those lyrics. Myself 123 00:45, November 16, 2012 (UTC)

Lyrics:Eggman power! Target locked Fire!Fire! Mission prioritized Save friend Anhialate!Beta, Delta, Epsilon, Zeta Mission acomplished....... Note that it is very quite and slurred. Also, there are many pauses and one notable instrumental in the beggining

06 lover

The song doesn't really use lyrics, it uses two vocal sample over and over. The first sample can be heard about 20 seconds in and is fairly understandable. The second sample can be heard first around 1:42 and is almost imposible to understand

From what I have been able to research, the "lyrics" are as follows:

It's my pleasure. Ready to die. x3

Big Emerald(?)

It's my pleasure. Ready to die. x2

Big Emerald(?) X6

"Big Emerald" is so horrible garbled I'm not sure what it says.
