Some fans claim that the Sol Dimension is actually Sonic's world from the future. I strongly disagree however, because I see several peices of evidence that could contradict this theory. For starters, if Sonic's world from the future was destroyed, and Sonic and Tails traveled to this very dimension in Sonic Rush Adventure, then why wasn't the world in Sonic Rush Adventure in total chaos, as it is supposedly portrayed in Sonic '06? Some people claim that these worlds are the same, but I fail to se how that is even possible, because the supposed Sol Dimension in Sonic '06 and Sonic Rush Adventure look so different from one another. Some fans even claim that the Sol Emeralds and the Jeweled Scepter (From Sonic Rush Adventure) are actually the Chaos and Master Emeralds from the future in Sonic's future world (Again, supposedly the Sol Dimension). I also find this difficult to believe because the Sol Emeralds didn't even make an appearance in Sonic '06, in the timeline that is thought to be the Sol Dimensions. The Jeweled Scepter didn't make an appearance in Sonic '06, either, further contradicting the theory that the Chaos and Master Emeralds and the Jewled Scepter and Sol Emeralds are one in the same. And here's the hundred dollar question: If the Sol Dimension in Sonic Rush Adventure is the same as the suggested one in Sonic '06, then where the heck is Silver? In Sonic '06, Silver and Blaze are best friends. If this is true, and if the Sol Dimension on Sonic Rush Adventure and Sonic '06 are one in the same, then why didn't Silver appear in Sonic Rush Adventure, in the very same world where he is rumored to live 500 years into the future? Because of these statements I just made, I fail to see how the Sonic Rush Adventure and Sonic '06 Sol Dimensions are the same worlds. I think that the future world in Sonic '06 is actually just Sonic's world in the future, and not the Sol Dimension, and that the Blaze the Cat character who appeared in Sonic '06 is actually just an alternate version of herself. <span style="color:blueviolet;background:black"><big>Phoenix the Cat</big></span><small><font color="#ff0000">The flames reborn....</font></small> 21:26, March 4, 2010 (UTC)

Wont it be more official to have the article stay by the name "Sol Dimension" and have Blaze's world as a secondary name? Sol Dimension has one specific obscure kid's book source - in fact, if you look back at the history of this article, you'll notice that it was created with the "Sol Dimension" title back in 2008, whereas that sticker book was later released in 2010, so it's clear that the people who put it together very likely pulled their info from fan-sites and probably didn't bother double-checking with Sega (hence why there are some mistakes like the early Gemerl name confusion). Blaze's world, on the other hand, is used often enough in the Sonic Rush Adventure script and has more official basis such as developer interviews... Think like how Sonic's world overtook the earth, except Sol Dimension actually originates from the fandom. :If you have an official source on it, it can work. But in retrospect, whether it is a term that originates from the fandom or not, it is still published by an official source that handles Sonic media, thereby making it a possible name. Who knows? Maybe that term was picked up by the developers. Also, the term "Sol Dimension" used in this kid book in is from 2010, which is fairly recent though I admit I can't judge from when that interview was made. However, there is the possibility that this interview was made before 2010 and then the term "Sol Dimension" came along. While I am also not saying that you are wrong, isn't it a little presumptuous reason you presented of why it is called the Sol Dimension in the book? Maybe there is a deeper meaning behind it. I am just saying.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 18:24, June 15, 2014 (UTC)

::There could always be a deeper meaning and I have to agree that Sol Dimension is still a possible name since it can ultimately be cited from a licensed source, but at the same time I don't think it's viable as the primary title for the reasons already mentioned - I believe the term should either show more significant usage in other official materials or directly come from a source that predates the creation of this article (which the sticker book is neither). Phoenix the CatThe flames reborn.... 21:26, March 4, 2010 (UTC)

I agree

Though the Sol Emeralds and Chaos Emeralds are of same color, I don't belive they are the same objects, because they are of different shape. The Scepter of Darkness is a look-alike too, but what does that prove? The "future" could in fact be the future of the Sol Dimension and not Sonic's world, because Mephiles is an interdemensional being, and of course was just trying to get someone to destroy Sonic for him as revenge. All in all, it's just a big mix-up due to the fact that Sonic '06 and Sonic Adventure Rush weren't created by the exact same people.

Should this page be renamed?

Should this page be renamed to "Sol Zone"? "Sol Dimension" is a fan given name, but "Sol Zone" is semi official. We all have our own styles we won't change 17:32, November 7, 2012 (UTC)

What do you mean, semi-official? --Twinkle Snow Unleash Christmas 201317:33, November 7, 2012 (UTC)

The page says it is semi official. We all have our own styles we won't change 17:35, November 7, 2012 (UTC)

It doesn't say that it is semi-official, just that it is considered to be semi-official. Either way, it makes sense for the page to be renamed, given your reason. --Twinkle Snow Unleash Christmas 201317:38, November 7, 2012 (UTC)

Sol Zone is "semi-official" in that it is used by Ian Flynn, the writer of the Archie series, in a non-official capacity, for the Archie-version of the dimension. The term "Zone" isn't used for dimensions in the same way outside of Archie (Special Zone excepted). I do think that dimension shouldn't be capitalised, since it's not a proper noun. -- Supermorff (talk) 21:19, November 7, 2012 (UTC)

I guess we should call it a "Zone", but I like "Dimension" better (:I) Kenny9277 (talk) 00:42, November 8, 2012 (UTC)Kenny9277

Per Supermoff, "Sol Zone" is the term from Archie Sonic comics, where the word "zone" is used to refer to other dimensions as well as other regions. "Sol dimension" or "Blaze's dimension" should be fine. Myself 123 00:39, November 8, 2012 (UTC)
