Tails: Hello out there TailsTubers! [The shutters on Tails' computer opens, revealing the desktop and a window of an animation of Tails dancing] It's been a little while, did you miss me? Well I'm back with a very special episode. [Closes the window] Today, I've got a guest you've all been asking for. [Knuckles' theme tune, Unknown from M.E., plays in the background throughout the episode.] The one and only, Knuckles the Echidna! [Tails clicks the video communicator button. A window opens up and Knuckles, with the camera severely close to him, appears.]

Knuckles: Is this thing working? Hello? Can you hear me?

Tails: Coming in loud and clear! [The window at the center of the screen shows a picture of Knuckles delivering the Miles Electric in a box filled with polystyrene.] Glad to see my video communicator arrived safely. Can you hear me?

Knuckles: Okay, yeah, yeah, uhh sorry. I'm not good with, uh, technology. [Close the center window] Now what did you need? Are you in danger?

Tails: No, no, nothing that serious. I was just hoping you'd be able to hang out for a bit. This is my show, [A fanfare plays while "The Sonic Scoop" window opens.] "The Sonic Scoop," where we talk all about Sonic!

Knuckles: [Disappointed] Oh. No, thanks.

Tails: ...Uh..wh-?

Knuckles: [Annoyed] I don't want to talk about Sonic. Is that all? [Zooms in and configures the camera] How do I turn this thing off--

Tails: [Closes "The Sonic Scoop", interrupting] Wait, wait! Uhh... I guess we don't have to talk about Sonic. We can talk about... well, what do you want to talk about?

Knuckles: Pretty much anything else.

Tails: Well, you're the guest. Let's talk about you! [Opens up a window of Knuckles] Why don't you tell us a little about yourself?

Knuckles: Well, there's not much to tell. I'm a pretty simple guy. [Tails clicks on the reel button. The first window shows a Sonic Adventure flashback of Tikal protecting the Master Emerald from Pachacamac and his Knuckles Clan at a burning Angel Island, followed by Knuckles looking at the Emerald itself in daylight] The last in a line of ancient guardians, entrusted with watching over the Master Emerald. A jewel of immeasurable power, [Another window shows a flashback of Knuckles holding the Emerald in Sonic Adventure 2.] and the only force in the universe that can neutralize the energy of the Chaos Emeralds.

Tails: Uh... yeah.. Pretty simple. [Closes all the flashback windows] The Master Emerald also keeps your island floating in the air, right? [A window appears, displaying Angel Island floating upwards.]

Knuckles: That's right. High in the sky, hidden away in the clouds. It's the safest place to guard the Emerald from fiends who would try to take it. [Tails closes that window and opens up a window with a Sonic Adventure 2 flashback of Eggman and his Eggmobile possessing the Master Emerald.]

Tails: Like Eggman.

Knuckles: Eggman, robotic abominations, that thieving bat...

Tails: Uh. Rouge? [Opens a window of Rouge the Bat.]

Knuckles: [Panicking] Where?! [Normally] I mean, uh, yes. None of them are worthy of possessing the emerald. I'll do whatever it takes to keep it safe and out of dangerous hands.

Tails: [Closes the windows] Sure, sure. But what if, say, [Opens a window with a picture of a two-tailed fox investigating the Master Emerald with his Miles Electric.] one of your friends came up to run a few tests, see what else it can do?

Knuckles: Oh. Then I'm glad that friend can fly, because he'd be getting tossed right off the side of my island.

Tails: [Nervous laugh, closes the window] But aren't you curious about what else the Master Emerald can do? [Opens a window with a flashback of Knuckles looking at the Master Emerald] You have such a special relationship with it. [Opens another window with a flashback of Super Sonic] Sonic can use the Chaos Emeralds to turn into Super Sonic, after all. [Clicks again, another window shows a flashback of Knuckles tossing the shards towards the Emerald] With your connection to the Master Emerald--

Knuckles: [Interrupting, annoyed] It is not my place to use The Emerald's power. It is my job to protect it.

Tails: [Closes the window] Come on, where's your sense of adventure?

Knuckles: [Scoffs] You've been hanging out with Sonic too much, you're starting to sound like him.

Sonic: [Suddenly appears on-screen in front of Knuckles] And what's so wrong with that?

Tails: -Oh, hey Sonic! [Drags Knuckles' window to the center of the screen.]

Knuckles: [Annoyed] -Hm. I should have known you'd show up.

Sonic: Oh, you happy to see me, Knucklehead? You're not getting lonely up there are you? You know we could come visit.

Knuckles: No thanks.

Sonic: [Relaxed] Alright then, why don't you come visit us? Come on, get off that stuffy old island once in a while.

Knuckles: Hey, I leave my island plenty, and it's always to help when [Tails opens up three windows of flashbacks in three separate games: Sonic Heroes, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity and Sonic Forces, all with a cutscene of Knuckles teaming up.] you can't save the world on your own.

Sonic: Well, that's not... un-true.

[A window shows a flashback of Knuckles in gameplay roaming around Angel Island in Sonic Adventure.]

Knuckles: [Angrily] And my island is not stuffy. It's a paradise with diverse environments and ancient mysteries to uncover. Every day I find something new and fascinating here. [The window closes] For example, [Shows a rock to the camera.] here's a special new rock I just found. Look what it can do! [He grunts and throws the rock into the camera, breaking it and leaving a plain gray screen all over his window.]

Tails: [Crash] Argh! My Communicator!

Sonic: I don't know, I feel like any rock could do that.

Tails: [Closes the last window] Oh. Well, I guess that's the end of my interview.

Sonic: Sorry, buddy. I didn't mean to interrupt. I'm sure Knuckles was going to talk about uh... another really interesting rock or something next.

Tails: That's okay. I'm glad you stopped by, actually. I was doing some research on the Chaos Emeralds and their signal led my tracker to someplace strange. [A window pops up, revealing footage of some large islands surrounded by a lake.] It looks like some new islands I've never seen before. Want to come check it out?

Sonic: Sounds like an adventure! I'm in! Oh wait, let me do the thing! [Sunglasses appear over his eyes. He strikes a cool pose with a cool voice] I'm in.

Tails: Great! [The shutters close] Well, thanks for tuning in, everyone! We'll see you next time for another Sonic Scoop! [A Dash Panel sound effect plays as Sonic zooms to the right off-screen. Tails walks off too.] Should we invite Amy too?

Sonic: [Off-screen] Hey, the more the merrier!
