Plot[]
The episode begins with Tails making some final broadcast attempts of his new show. After a few seconds, his desktop appears, and Tails himself looks up to look at the camera, wondering if his adjustments have worked. Noticing that he is up and running, Tails proceeds to welcome both old and new friends to TailsTube, his very own streaming channel, before proceeding to explain what his streaming channel is all about. As Tails shows various clips and pictures, he tells how his show will be about him sharing news, give at-home-airplane-repair-tips or, which he emphasizes by putting some sunglasses on, just chilling. Today, however, Tails announces that he has an extra special show planned for the audience with an extra special guest: his best blue bud, Sonic the Hedgehog.
With a click of a button his desktop, Sonic is brought up in a browser. Sonic himself proceeds to greet Tails, noting that it has been a while and asks what the fox cub has been up to lately. Tails says he has not been up too much except chilling, which he again emphasizes by putting on some sunglasses, which makes Sonic chuckle and praise his shades. After thanking Sonic however, Tails reveals that he has not brought him on for his show for this. Rather, he has been swamped with questions from fans and he could use some help answering them, which Tails emphasizes by bringing up an image of Cream and Cheese asking Tails questions. Sonic is surprised by the irony of this revelation, seeing that Tails is coming to him for answers, and remarks how the "tables have turned". Getting back to the matter at hand, Tails asks Sonic if he will stick around and help him take answers from the chat to which Sonic gladly offers his help.
Happy to have Sonic onboard, Tails brings up the first question from "KingMotorPapa" which says, "Your planet strikes me as especially odd. Care to explain yourselves". While Sonic sarcastically remarks that they are starting off with a big question by having to explain their whole planet, Tails notes that their world is a pretty crazy place indeed, what with their checker-patterned soil, floating islands of various sizes, and natural loop-de-loop rock formations, which a satisfied Sonic contributes to the "twisty, bouncy beauty of nature" which is all an adventure-hungry hedgehog like himself could ask for. Tails proceeds to explain that massive continents can be seen from orbit, which are full of fascinating countries, each with its own cultures and people, and that he in particular enjoys sampling all the regional dishes. Sonic wholeheartedly agrees to which Tails remarks with a laugh that he mainly samples all the local culture's takes on chili dogs. Sonic, however, notes that he facies himself a connoisseur. Tails proceeds to explains that the islands on their world cannot be seen from space, and that there is a bajillion of them. Tails notes in particular that he is from West Side Island, which was where he first met Sonic and proceeds to explains that anthropomorphic animals like themselves usually live on islands like these while humans tend to live in the bigger countries. Amazed by how Tails has covered this subject, Sonic asks Tails if he really needs him for his show. Apologizing for getting excited, Tails lets Sonic take the next question.
Popping up the next question, which is from "SonicFan4Eva", Sonic jokingly remarks that Knuckles the Echidna has written this one, prompting a chuckle from Tails. Regardless, the question reads, "If you can run so fast, why do I see you in a racecar sometimes". Following a short pause, Sonic simply says "'cause it's cool", and asks for the next question.
Tails brings up the next question with a click of a button, which is from "I <3 Jewels". This question states, "Be a dear and tell me everything you know about the Chaos Emeralds. Where did they come from? Maybe some tips on how to find them?". Having problems explaining that, Sonic admits that he does not know where the Emeralds come from or where they are now, as he does not look for them unless he needs them to stop Dr. Eggman from getting them first. Taking over, Tails explains that though they see them often, a lot is still unknown about the Chaos Emeralds, and that when used together, the seven Emeralds can grant one unlimited power. However, even one can be dangerous in the wrong hands, as they can be used to power deadly machines or warp time and space, which means bad news if Eggman gets hold of them. Sonic, however, tips in by saying that when he gets all seven Chaos Emeralds, he can turn into Super Sonic, which turns him gold, super-fast and gives him the power to fly. A jealous Tails admits that he wishes he was that cool, but Sonic tells Tails that he can fly anytime he wants and that he is a super-genius to boot, which, to Sonic, makes Tails the coolest person he knows. Happy, but embarrassed, Tails decides that they should answer one more question before wrapping things up.
The last question is from "Spiral Hill Fan Club" and says, "Settle a debate for us. That pink hedgehog we always see with you, is that your sister or your girlfriend?" Sonic wonders if they are referring to Amy Rose, to which Tails remarks if he knows any other pink hedgehogs. Sonic defends himself by noting that he is a popular guy, but answers regardless that Amy is not his sister, but just a really good friend. Tails teases with an "uh-huh" and a picture of Amy trying to kiss Sonic, but Sonic deflects that by noting that while Amy started out as his number one fan, she is now an important member of their crew. He further adds that she will always go out of her way to help them, which, to him, makes her a real hero.
Tails then begins to wonder if he can get Amy on his show sometime, and perhaps even make this a regular segment, which involves just hanging with friends and answering questions. He then gets the idea of calling it "Questions for Miles", or the "The Prower Hour". Sonic then pitches in with an idea: "The Sonic Scoop". Giving the suggestion some thoughts, Tails says that he loves it. He then tells the audience that they will see them next time on the Sonic Scoop, before dropping off-screen and closing his desktop, with Sonic noting behind it that the name "really rolls off the tongue".
