The Tail-escope[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic Boom television series. It is the personalized portable telescope belonging to Miles "Tails" Prower.[2]
Description
Despite its unique name, the Tail-escope is no different from a regular telescope.[2] A portable telescope slightly bigger than Tails, the Tail-escope has a yellow main tube with grey metal pieces around the eyepiece, a yoke, a focusing knob, and a viewfinder. The main tube itself stands on a brown wooden tripod.
History
TV series
Season two
When Dr. Eggman made a skeptical claim that an asteroid was heading for earth, Tails used the Tail-escope to look into space, and discovered that Eggman spoke the truth. It was further used by Team Sonic to perfect their plan to stop the catastrophe.[2] Tails later took his Tail-escope out to study the stars at night. During his observations however, Tails used the Tail-escope to spot who he believed to be Muckfoot.[3]
