Taeko Kawata (川田 妙子 Kawata Taeko?), née Taeko Yamada (山田 妙子 Yamada Taeko?, born 20 March 1965), is a seiyū who was born in Tokyo. She was once employed by 81 Produce. Now, she is a freelancer. Her name is sometimes misromanized as Taeko Kawada. She is the Japanese voice actress of Amy Rose in both the Sonic the Hedgehog games and the anime series Sonic X.
