— Description, Sonic Unleashed[1]

The TV is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is an old-fashioned television set for storing and showing videos from Videotapes.

Description

The TV mostly resembles a real-life television set from the 1960-70s. It is in the shape of a relatively flat rectangular cuboid with a dark brown wooden cover, a flat surface plate on the top, and four thin legs on the bottom near the corners. On the front, it has a gray rectangular area with a screen and a few buttons in the upper right corner.

Overview

The TV holds an entry for each cutscene that can be watched in Sonic Unleashed. By interacting with the TV, the player can see the videos stored in it. However, the entries in the TV do not hold any videos until the player collects the corresponding Videotape in gameplay. When that happens, the TV automatically fills out its entry, until all entries are covered.

The player can buy the TV from Josef's in Spagonia for 1,000 Rings. After buying it, it can be found in Professor Pickle's Room in both the Spagonia and Shamar Town Stages where the player can interact with it.
