Syntar[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a mobian echidna, and a skilled marksman in the Dark Legion under the command of Kommisar Lien-Da.

Appearance[]

Syntar is a mobian echidna of average height, with red fur and dreadlocks, a tan muzzle, and a small black nose. His right eye is cybernetic, being colored silver with a red slit. For attire, he wears a silver band on one of his dreadlocks, and a blue cloak.[1]

History[]

Reunification[]

Syntar was secretly ordered by Kommisar Lien-Da to assassinate another Dark Legion assassin, a member of the High Council who failed in his objective to take out Dimitri at a peace conference with the Mitre and High Council. Due to Chaos Knuckles' interference halting the original assassin's attempt, and leaving him captured, Syntar was ordered to shoot him before he could talk. While targeting the assassin, Syntar noted that Julie-Su was standing right next to him, to which Lien-Da responded, telling him to shoot them both. Before Syntar could take a shot, however, he was knocked out by Lara-Su, who had overheard his conversation.[1]

Personality[]

Syntar is very loyal to Lien-Da, willingly following her orders without question. He also appears to be somewhat cruel, seeing no problem in taking the life of another member of the Dark Legion.[1]
