The Super State is an ability that appears in the Sonic X anime series produced by TMS Entertainment, and its comic spin-off published by Archie Comics. It is alternatively referred to as a Super Transformation or a Super Form.
Description[]
A Super State is a transformation some individuals are able to attain by harnessing power from the Chaos Emeralds. The abilities each indiviual transoformation grants will vary between each user, although there is a general exponential increase in power, speed, and defense among any Super State
List of Super States[]
- Perfect Chaos: The Super State of Chaos. In this form, Chaos takes on a reptilian, monster-like appearance, and gains the ability to create and control water, something he has not shown being able to do prior. He can create water tornados and fire water beams from his mouth.
- Super Shadow: The Super State of Shadow the Hedgehog. In this form, much like Sonic, his black fur turns into a light yellow shade, but his eyes don't change color since they are already red. Super Shadow gains the ability to fly and gains an increase boost to the potency of his Chaos Powers.
- Super Sonic: The Super State of Sonic the Hedgehog, as well as the first Super State seen in the series. In this state, Sonic's fur turns golden yellow and his eyes turn orange. He gains the ability to fly and more readily use Chaos Powers such as Chaos Control or Chaos Spear.
- Dark Sonic: An alternative, corrupted, and more violent Super State of Sonic the Hedgehog's. This Super State is the result of Sonic harnessing the Chaos energy of Fake Emeralds, rather than real Chaos Emeralds. In this form, Sonic's fur, including those around his muzzle and belly, turn a dark blue color, and his eyes turn pure white. Although he doesn't display much of the abilities or the same level of power as Super Sonic.
Trivia[]
- Although Final Mova isn't exactly a Super State, as it also uses the Planet Eggs as a source of its transformation, it nevertheless utilizes the energy of the Chaos Emeralds to achieve its transformed state.
