The Super Sonic Triple Spin[1] is a move that appears in the Sonic Underground television series. It is one of the signature techniques used by Sonic the Hedgehog.
Description[]
The Super Sonic Triple Spin is a maneuver where Sonic curls up into a spiky ball and begins to spin around rapidly, using his quills as blades. The ability has a wide range of uses, ranging from battling robots, ripping plants apart, or burrowing underground.[1]
Name variations[]
In the episode "Friend or Foe?", Sonic specifically refers to this maneuver as the Super Sonic Triple Spin, but later in the episode he refers to it as simply the Super Spin. Additionally, the back cover of the Sonic Underground LCD game uses two different names for this maneuver: Super Sonic Spin and Sonic Spin Dash.
