Super Sonic (original DVD)

First release cover artwork

Super Sonic is a DVD produced by DiC Entertainment and Lionsgate Home Entertainment that contained five episodes of the Sonic the Hedgehog television series all from season one. This DVD was originally released 26 February 2002. However, this was pulled when Buena Vista claimed to have distribution rights to the series.

It was re-released by NCircle on 23 December 2008, this time with only the first four episodes from the original release, the fifth episode being replaced by a number of sneak peeks of other cartoons.

Episodes

Fifth Episode

On the 2002 release, after watching the first four episodes, a Sonic Quiz comes up with a number of questions about the plots and characters from the episodes. If the viewer answers the questions correctly they are rewarded with another episode, "Sonic and the Secret Scrolls".[1] According to the official NCircle Entertainment Website, this episode is not present on the 2008 release.
