The Super Headstart is a ability which appears in Sonic Dash. It is an upgraded version of the headstart ability that gives the character chosen by the player a extra boost of speed during the beginning of the run upon activation, similar to how the Dash Boost works. Players are able to gain access to this ability through events, the store, and the daily wheel. Unlike the headstart ability, super heardstarts core differences are that it's harder to obtain, faster, and goes for a longer distance.

Description[]

If the player has Super Headstarts available during a runs start, there will be an option to use the Super Headstart for a few seconds. The player will lose the ability to use it for the remainder of the run if they do not activate it within this time limit. Upon activation, the player character gains a temporary extra speed boost, in which it can jump over gaps automatically, and can run into and demolish obstacles and enemies to gain bonus points for each one destroyed. Usually, it continues until the player gets close to the track's terminus and the springs. To keep the player from losing immediately after the Super Headstart finishes, barriers and adversaries that are in the way will be eliminated if the boost ends just before they get to them.
