The Super Eggrobo 2.0[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. It is a large mech created by Dr. Eggman. It was much smaller than it's predecessor and was not powered by the Extractor.
Description[]
Appearance[]
The Super Eggrobo 2.0 is a massively large mech bearing a strong resemblance to Dr. Eggman. It possesses a spherical red torso with two yellow and triangular markings extending down from its collar, a purple and circular light in the middle of its torso, a straight recess down the front, a lower gray section, and a line of green lights on the front on the upper border of the torso's gray section. It also has a dome-shaped head with a line of teeth, a pointy red nose, a black and curved mustache, a left eye resembling a black eyepatch with a green pupil inside it, a red right eye without a pupil, and a class dome on top of it for the Egg Mobile to be inserted into. As for its arms, it possesses large and spherical red shoulders at the size of its torso that have yellow-rimmed green lights in the center, small and spherical upper arm joints, large and cylinder-shaped red forearms with gray rims on the upper rims and yellow rims around the wrists. Meanwhile, its hands are gray spheres resting inside its forearms with a yellow-rimmed green light on their palms and five fingers with laser barrels on the fingertips. It also has stubby legs in comparison to the rest of its body, with large spherical tights, round kneecaps, excessively large lower legs resembling boots, and green lights around them. Lastly, it possesses two green tanks on its back and a cape made of green energy.
Abilities and traits[]
The Super Eggrobo 2.0 is a massive powerhouse, capable of smashing through the ground with a single hand. Its thick chassis makes it highly resilient to attacks as well, and it possesses a jetpack that makes it capable of flight. It can also fire laser shots from its fingertips.[2]
History[]
Imposter Syndrome[]

The Super Eggrobo 2.0 in the Memorial Garage, from Sonic the Hedgehog: Imposter Syndrome #4.
When Dr. Starline took control of Eggperial City and Dr. Eggman's Badniks, Dr. Eggman fled before he could be captured via his personal chute to the Memorial Garage. Once there, he looked at some of his hold mechs, which included the Super Eggrobo 2.0, while he commented about how he thought he would have had the time to refurbish all of them.[3]
Battle for the Empire[]
When Dr. Starline found himself under attack by Dr. Eggman in his Egg Emperor, Starline went to the Memorial Garage and armed himself with the Super Eggrobo 2.0. Using this mech, Starline launched an ambush upon the Egg Emperor from underground, before engaging the doctor head-on in a mech-to-mech battle. While Starline tried to restrain the Egg Emperor with the Super Eggrobo 2.0, Eggman's superior mech piloting skills gave him the edge he needed to keep the more advanced Super Eggrobo 2.0 at bay. Eventually, as the doctors' battle took them into the underground sectors of Eggperial City, Eggman got the upper hand when he managed to server the Super Eggrobo 2.0's right arm and pierce its torso with the Egg Emperor's lance, effectively defeating it. However, Starline ejected himself from the Super Eggrobo 2.0's cockpit and used the Tricore Blast to destroy the Egg Emperor.[2]
Trivia[]
- Due to the Super Eggrobo 2.0 being in the Memorial Garage, Dr. Eggman claiming that he thought he would have had more time to refurbish his mechs, and Orbot explaining to Dr. Starline that the Display Museum had yet to be finished as a follow up to saying that Dr. Eggman fled to the Memorial Garage, it can be assumed that the Eggrobo and/or other mechs in the Memorial Garage would have most likely been moved to the Display Museum had said mechs been refurbished and/or had the Display Museum been finished.
