Super Eggman (スーパーなエッグマン[1] Sūpā Egguman?), also known as Light-man Eggman,[2] is a transformation that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a transformation of Dr. Eggman achieved through a modified Phantom Ruby prototype[3] allowing him to emulate a Super State.
Appearance[]
When utilizing the Super transformation, Eggman's body and clothes gain a golden/yellow glow, his mustache becomes gold and rises up with energy and the Phantom Ruby prototype appears prominent on his chest.
Overview[]
Super Eggman is a form that was made by the last remaining Phantom Ruby prototype to replicate a Super State. While in this form, Eggman is capable of flight and bears powers comparable to those of Super Sonic.[1] He is also able to create and control Otherworlds at will, such as turning destroyed skyscrapers in Station Square into multiple copies of Perfect Chaos.
Weaknesses[]
Due to his creations lacking the heart and desire the originals had, Super Eggman's creations can easily be defeated by strong desire and heart. He is also only super powered as long as the Phantom Ruby is powering him.

- Super Eggman is the first Super State achieved by a human character in a game or game-adjacent media.
- In Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Dr. Robotnik had previously also achieved a super form, though it largely differed in appearance.
