Sumo Digital Ltd is an independent game development studio based in Sheffield, United Kingdom. The studio was founded in 2003 following the closure of Infogrames Studios Sheffield/Gremlin Interactive.[1][2] Sumo currently employs more than 270 development staff, many of whom had previously worked together at Infogrames and Gremlin.[3]
Under Sega's supervision, Sumo Digital was responsible for the development of most of the Sega All-Stars/racing games.
