In order for Charmy to use the Sting Attack in ''Sonic Heroes'', he must be the only available character on [[Team Chaotix]] when in flight formation. By pressing the square/B button in gameplay, Charmy will point his natural stinger first out in front and delivers a quick, vicious sting to the opponents in front of him, while being surrounded in a red aura. The Sting Attack also allows Charmy to activate Warp Flowers found the stages, which allows Charmy to teleport his team to different locations.
