On Seaside Island, Amy and Sticks are at Tails' place, watching him, Sonic and Knuckles pack the Dude-Mobile for their Dude-itude concert on the other side of the island. With the guys being gone for the weekend, Amy plans to have some quality girl time with Sticks. However, unaligned ideas about what they should spent their time on arise, as Sticks wants to be prepared on an attack from Dr. Eggman since their team will be weakened by three with the guys gone. At the same time, the guys finish packing. Amy tells them to have fun and do nothing she would not do, to which Sonic remarks that that means having no fun, much to Amy's annoyance. Once the Dude-Mobile has driven off, Amy ditches Sticks' plans for guard duty in favor of a plan to keep Eggman at bay.

  +
Later in a field, Amy sets up her homemade Sonic doll (claiming she keeps it around for non-creepy reasons) on a pole while Sticks watches. Upon finishing, Eggman comes scrolling by, prompting Amy and Sticks to hide in the bushes. Mistaking the Sonic doll for the real Sonic from a distance, Eggman assumes that Sonic is mocking him with a smug grin while giving him the cold shoulder. Refusing to be ignored, Eggman declares war on the Sonic doll. Satisfied that her plan is working, Amy asks Sticks what they should start their weekend off with. Much to Amy's disgust, Sticks takes them out mud clump hurtling, which Amy admits is not her cup of tea despite attempting to try it out on Sticks' insistence. Instead, she takes Sticks to have a cup of tea in her house while teaching her how to knit. However, Sticks notes that this "nursing home act" is not her bag. Amy thus comes up with an idea that will satisfy the both of them: going to the spa in the Village Center. There, Amy enjoys a relaxing footbath while Sticks, much to her enjoyment, gets to soak in mud. Amy soon gets a call from Sonic on her Communicator, who is complaining about his trip, which has become a boring nightmare. After telling Sonic their weekend activities, Amy tells Sonic to enjoy his trip and hangs up. However, unbeknownst to Amy, Belinda is sitting next to her in the spa, taking an interest in having overheard that Sonic is out of town.

Back in the field, Eggman is planning to attack the Sonic doll. While having Orbot and Cubot (both of them erroneously posing at Tails using Tails masks) distract the Sonic doll, Eggman tries sneaking up on it, only to retreat when the wind causes the Sonic doll to face him. Meanwhile, in a cave somewhere, Charlie is excavating a glowing Ancient artifact from a rock when Belinda arrives, telling him that Hedgehog Village is theirs for the taking with Sonic, Tails and Knuckles out of town. Charlie, however, is more interested in his excavation, making Belinda mad at Charlie and berate his lack of fortitude. At the same time, back in the field, Eggman has mobilized some of his strongest robots, whom he orders to attack the Sonic doll. When the attack succeeds, Eggman believes he has finally defeated Sonic and begins his long-overdue victory speech. This is by then that Cubot points out the remains of the Sonic doll nearby to Eggman, and Eggman realizes he has been tricked. Believing Sonic to be behind this deceit, Eggman vows revenge.

Back in the spa, Amy and Sticks are enjoying their weekend until they hear Eggman call for Sonic from the street. Getting back into gear, Amy and Sticks find Eggman vandalizing the Village Center barehanded, and Sticks notes to Amy that her plan has backfired seriously. When Eggman overhears this, Amy admits why she tricked him. Rather than understanding them as Amy had hoped, Eggman attacks them with his Mantis Bots and Motobugs in retaliation. The Badniks prove to be no big challenge for Amy and Sticks, who easily overpower them, and even begin successfully using products from the spa's cosmetic shop to combat them. Eventually, Eggman retreats after Amy messes up his mustache with a shampoo/conditioner from the spa, much to the cheer of the villagers.
  +
  +
As Amy and Sticks celebrate their victory, Belinda shows up in Charlie's Mech Suit and knocks the girls away a distance. Belinda then monologues about how she has gotten tired of watching other supervillains (including Eggman and her inept husband) fail from the sidelines, which has made her decide to become part of the action. As she blows Amy and Sticks away with lasers, Belinda starts immobilizing nearby villagers (the Male Fennec, Fastidious Beaver and Lady Goat) in the mech's force-fields over petty frustrations she has with them, before shooting everywhere with lasers. While dodging attacks, Amy gets contacted by Sonic, who claims he and the gang need help getting out of jail. Amy, however, writes it off as a joke and hangs up. When their conventional means of attacks prove unable to stop Belinda, Amy suggests they try something else. Amy thus distracts Belinda with mud clumps hurtled at her, while Sticks uses stuff from the Male Fennec's shop to knit a strap that makes Belinda trip in the mech suit. This short-circuits the mech suit, freeing the immobilized villagers. Amy and Sticks then send Belinda flying using a table as a seesaw, declaring this to be the "best girls weekend ever".

  +
At night, Belinda is heading home, upset over having been defeated despite her best efforts and ready to take her anger out on Charlie. Upon entering her house however, Charlie presents Belinda with her anniversary gift, all while apologizing for not helping her and explaining that he could not assist her because he was busy getting her anniversary gift. Unwrapping her gift, Belinda finds a weaponized flight harness from the Ancients (the very same artifact that Charlie was excavating earlier), prompting her to hug Charlie in gratitude. Back in the Village, Amy and Sticks reflect on the day's events when they spot Eggman passing by with Amy's Sonic doll in hand (with Eggman nervously claiming that he wants to use it for research). Meanwhile, Charlie is out in his mech suit watching Belinda test out her gift. Upon hearing Belinda's satisfied remark that Hedgehog Village now has its new "power couple", Charlie wishes her a happy anniversary.
