Steve Aoki x Sonic Concert was a musical concert that took place on 30 November 2021 as part of the 30th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

The virtual concert itself featured Steve Aoki performing on a green screen which was later digitally replaced with backgrounds of Green Hill, Chemical Plant, Sky Sanctuary, and Speed Highway. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, along with various Chao and Flickies made sporadic appearances throughout the concert dancing along.

It was announced on 24 November 2021 that Sega would be teaming up with Steve Aoki to perform a virtual concert. A behind-the-scenes video would later get released showing how the set was made and Steve Aoki discussing his history with the series.[1]

Despite being advertised as a Sonic concert, only one song from the series was actually played, that being a remix of "Stardust Speedway "B" mix" from the Japanese soundtrack of Sonic the Hedgehog CD.

Viewers with virtual reality headsets could also view the concert in VR using the YouTube VR app on their device.

The hour-long concert was livestreamed on both the official Sonic the Hedgehog YouTube and Twitch channels on 30 November 2021. While the full recording of the concert was later set to private on YouTube, It is still available to watch on Twitch.[2]
