Starlight Carnival Hunt is a second-round stage in Sonic Rumble, serving as one of the possible Hunt modes where 16 players compete to avoid elimination.

In Starlight Carnival Hunt, players are launched into the arena via Dash Rings, landing on a field of glowing panels with rings spawning in to collect. Stepping on these panels turns them grey and causes them to disappear, requiring players to keep moving to avoid falling because falling off the arena results in point loss. Occasionally, purple energy paths appear, providing temporary safe zones for players to run on while waiting for panels to respawn.
As the round progresses, special Springs appear throughout the arena. Jumping on these Springs propels players to a bonus area filled with rainbow-colored glowing panels that offer higher point values. The round ends when the timer expires, with the top eight players who have accumulated the most points advancing to the final round.
