The Star Post is an object that appears in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series. They are signpost-shaped devices which are used to access Special Zones.
Description
The Star Posts are red and white-striped sign pole with a rotatable yellow sign emblazed with a white five-pointed star attached on one side.
The Star Posts can be activated by driving by them, causing their sign to rotate. The users can then pass by the Star Posts to be teleported to a Special Zone. From there, they can teleport to other Star Posts if they fulfill the Zone's requirements.[1]
History
During the Mobius 5000 race, Sonic, Tails and Professor Caninestein used a Star Post to evade heavy traffic in the Casino Night Zone and get closer to the finish line via a Special Zone.[1]
