Like their namesake, a star is shaped like a regular five-point star; it has a floating orange "body" protected by a shell composed of five pink triangles, which the star can open and close at will.
Overview
The Stars only appear in Techno Base. In gameplay, a star will hover in a stationary position, waiting for the player to draw near; once it detects someone nearby, it will close itself in its shell and spin in place, making it invulnerable to any attack. The player must then wait for the enemy to stop spinning and open up from its shell in order to defeat it.
Trivia
The Star is similar to the Asteron from Sonic the Hedgehog 2; however, it cannot shoot out projectiles like its counterpart.
