Sir Charles' Spy Room is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was a hidden bunker in Robotropolis maintained by Sir Charles Hedgehog during his service in the Robotropolis Spy Network.
Description[]

The Spy Room's entrance, from Sonic the Hedgehog #37.
The Spy Room is located in a scrapyard near Robotropolis. The entrance and top side of the room is disguised as a scrap pile of rubbish and machine parts, with stairs leading down to a computer room where Sir Charles may spy on Robotropolis and collect data from Robotniks networks. The base also has a periscope to check the exterior of the base to see if it is safe to leave the spy room.
History[]
The Spy Room was notable for being the site of a meeting between Charles, his nephew Sonic the Hedgehog, and Princess Sally Acorn prior to a massive earthquake ravaging the city. From here, the trio plotted out their efforts to take advantage of Dr. Robotnik's evacuation to save some of his various Robian slaves by restoring them to normal.[1]
Trivia[]
- The spy room is based on identical bunkers found in the Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic Underground animated series.
- Cartoon variations of the Spy Room has the room underneath the scrap pile than underground, without the stairs leading down towards it.
