Spring is in the Air[1] is the second quest on Kronos Island, as well the second overall. It's hosted by Amy. Its goal is to score 7000 points by Cylooping the weeds while avoiding the Bees, within the time limit.
Spring is in the Air takes place within a small field of Kronos Island, surrounded by mossy stone walls. The field itself is covered by wild brush, as well six bigger plants. In the background, the structure that holds the white Chaos Emerald Vault can be observed. The area is also inhabited by Bees.
As Sonic Frontiers includes a day-night cycle, some elements will be different from player to player.
Story[]
During the journey to find the Koco's true love, Amy, Sonic and their new friend would find themselves unable to continue the search due to the uncultivated field. Amy would proposes to clean the wild brush by using Sonic's new-found ability, thus starting this Quest.
Gameplay[]
In Spring is in the Air, the player has to score 7000 points by cleaning the wild brush using the Cyloop, one of Sonic's Skills that he acquired while on the Starfall Islands.
During the Quest, the player will encounter Bees, which are roaming above the fields. Once they made contact with Sonic, the latter will lose a Life, while the Bees will stop moving for a few seconds, before resuming their activity. The Bees can be distracted by using Quick Cyloop on the seeds around the field, which will bloom a flower, however using a normal Cyloop will not cause them to bloom. In this Quest, the player has three Lifes (only one on Extreme). By taking damage, a Life will be consumed, and if all three are drained, the Quest will be restarted.

In Spring is in the Air, the player has to clean the wild brush within a field while avoiding Bees, during the time limit, which is 120 seconds, or 2 minutes. In this Quest, the player has to use the Cyloop ability in order to clean the wild brush, thus scoring points.
Once the player collected 7000 points, they will be rewarded with the cyan Chaos Emerald.
