The Spring is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics.

Appearance[]
Spring vary in appearance. In it’s older design, it has a red surface with a gray coil, while its newer interactions are red with a blue circle and a yellow star within the blue circle.
Features and traits[]
Springs allow the user to reach higher levels of elevation.
History[]
Sonic used a spring to launch himself into the sky, where he ended up entering a hole in the sky and ended up in the Zone of Verti-Cal and Horizont-Al.[1]
The Knothole Freedom Fighters also had a spring in Freedom HQ, which Sonic used on multiple occasions as a fast way of making it to the surface.[2]
In the world altered by Eggman’s Genesis Wave, there were also varies springs that Sonic used during his fight with Mega Man.[3]
