Spiral Heights is a track that appears in Sonic Forces: Speed Battle. It is unlocked in Tier 6, or upon reaching 2250 Trophies.

Overview

Spiral Heights is an extreme-difficulty track based in Sky Sanctuary, and contains a number of corkscrews and Grind Rail segments.

Gameplay

In Spiral Heights, the playable characters are stuck running down the level's road and can only move left and right between the road's four lanes (akin to the Quick Step). While running, the player can pick up powerups from Item Boxes and utilize the gimmicks native to this track.

Spiral Heights has many environmental obstacles which the player can either jump over, roll under or move around. Running into one of these obstacles will result in the player taking damage and lose some of their Rings. Falling into bottomless pits on the other hand forces the player to restart from an earlier point on the track.

Description

The racers begin on a grind rail, and will need to jump over a small hurdle before getting onto the main track. The section ahead is littered with obstacles (some have Item Boxes placed directly behind them), and will soon lead into a corkscrew. The next few sections of track involve dodging several obstacles on both land and on rail, and will lead into a stretch of Conveyor Belts that alternate direction by lane. Afterward is a short set of grind rails before a segment on a hill, which leads to a large set of downhill grind rails. Beyond this is a large double-length corkscrew, which has several sets of Dash Panels inside it. The racers must then navigate through a short segment full of hurdles and pillars and enter the final area of the track, which is nearly barren save for two bottomless pits. Directly in front of two hurdles after the second bottomless pit are two Dash Panels, and ahead of those lies the finish line.
