The Spinner (Metal)[1] is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a mass-produced, bat-based Badnik model created by Dr. Eggman, and a variant of the Spinner.

Appearance

The Spinners are based on bats as well as the original Spinner. They have a hemisphere-shaped gray head with ears and cyan eyes have black pupils and sclera. Between their head and body, they have a pair of hook-like blades.

Overview

In the Wii version of Sonic Colors and Sonic Colors: Ultimate, the Spinners are encountered in Starlight Carnival and Game Land 6 Act 1. In gameplay, they are used as a gameplay mechanic, as they cannot be destroyed by any means. Instead, Spinners function as "stepping stones" for Sonic's Homing Attack. However, they are not negatively affected by the Homing Attack; instead, they only rock from the impact.

Powers and abilities

The Spinners have the ability to fly in midair by rotating their wings like propellers. They are also able to use their wings as blades to slash their opponents. They are also equipped with a durable armor that makes them immune to attacks.
