The Spin Dash is a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. It is a technique in which the user blasts forward at high-speed with a revved-up Spin Attack.

When performing the Spin Dash, the user curls up into a tight concussive ball or cutting dish and homes in on their target with a high-speed Spin Attack, whether through the air or across the ground, where they deal incredible damage. The user can also crouch down and start charging up the Spin Dash from a stationary position by spinning rapidly on the spot before taking off at a super fast rate.[1] The move can be used for both attacking foes and simply travelling at high speeds.
