The Spikebonker is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is a mass-produced Badnik model created by Dr. Robotnik which served as the security system onboard the Death Egg II.[1]
Appearance[]
Resembling cones, the Spikebonkers have a red top cap with a black cylinder section below. Placed below their red cap on their black underside are also two glaring eyes. On their bottom, they have a grey drill as well. They also carry an engine pack on their back and have a mace ball orbiting their lower section.
History[]
Sonic battled the Spikebonkers when he infiltrated Level 19, Sector 2 of the Death Egg II. He seemed very unimpressed with their design and particularly their ridiculous name.[1] The Spikebonkers did eventually bring Sonic before Robotnik, but Sonic insisted that he had not been beaten and that they had merely helped him find Robotnik.[2]
Personality[]
Spikebonkers, much like all other Badniks, despise Sonic and wish to see him destroyed. They also have a straightforward speech pattern.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
Spikebonkers are capable of flight and can launch the spiked balls which they hold in orbit around them.[1]
