The Spike Wispon[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. It is a Wispon that is both themed after and utilizes the power of the Pink Wisp.

Appearance[]
The Spike Wispon is a Gatling gun-styled weapon that has two pink handles at the top. It bears a white, cube-shaped center that connects to black barrels with pink designs and has a gray steel pipe connect down from the center to the pink, white and black capsule-shaped base.
Features and abilities[]
The Spike Wispon's signature function is its ability to hold Pink Wisps inside it and harness their energies to power itself. Without a Pink Wisp inside it, the Spike Wispon is useless.
The Spike Wispon is able to rapidly shoot out spiked projectiles.[2]

As a member of the Diamond Cutters, Smithy the Lion would use the Spike Wispon that he built on missions. In one particular mission, Smithy used the Spike Wispon to take down several Egg Pawns at an Eggman Empire base. Later, on his last mission, he used it to fight against an army of Shadow Androids in a locked room.[2]
