The Spectro-Analyzer[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a computer created by Dr. Eggman for the purpose of analyzing the properties of objects.

The Spectro-Analyzer is a large gray computer with circuitry covering its exterior, and a small square chamber in its center.[1]

The Spectro-Analyzer is capable of quickly analyzing the properties of objects placed into its chamber, and accessing information from the system database.[1]
History[]
All you need is a bit of Chaos[]
During his quest to empower Chaos, Dr. Eggman used the Spectro-Analyzer to analyze a rock which he believed to be a Chaos Emerald shard. However, the Spectro-Analyzer concluded that the rock was just a piece of the Chaos Chamber, and had no significance.[1]
