Spectre is a character mentioned in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He was the alternate version of Spectre from Dark Mobius.

Spectre's early history was most likely largely the same as that of his Mobius Prime counterpart. The point of divergence was when Knuckles became corrupted by his chaos powers and decided to conquer Mobius. Knuckles' aggressive efforts to bring his own version of order to Mobius led to conflict between him and the Brotherhood of Guardians. In particular, Spectre's condemnation of Knuckles' association with the Dark Legion prompted the younger Echidna to send Spectre flying through a wall.[1]
