Plot
Standing in front of the gathered villagers in the Village Center, Dr. Eggman reveals that a giant meteor is on a collision course with earth and encourages the villagers to purchase a spot in his bunker to ride out the impact. Sonic immediately sees that it is an evil scheme, but Eggman insists the threat is no less real, which he admits takes some joy out of his scheme. Back at Tails' place, Tails has a look into outer space with his Tailoscope (which he admits is no different from a regular telescope) and confirms to Team Sonic that Eggman was right: a giant asteroid is indeed heading for the planet.
Gathering Sonic, Mayor Fink, Professor Cluckins and Eggman in city hall, Tails proposes a plan where they blow the asteroid off its current course. However, the meeting gets nowhere: Fink and Cluckins are no help and opt to hide in Eggman's bunker, Eggman insists they stick to his original plan, and Sonic tries in vain to be the sensible one.

- This episode was first revealed at the Sonic 25th Anniversary party in San Diego as the first season two episode in the Sonic Boom television series to be revealed to the public.[2]
- The episode's title is a portmanteau of the words "Space", "Armageddon" and "Apocalypse," the two latter of which refers to the end of the world and civilization.
