Sonic the Poster Mag is a spin-off comic series based on the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It was a series of nine issues containing a special feature story, as well as a poster, like the name of the series suggests. The series ran from December 1993 to December 1994. Like the early issues of Sonic the Comic, some issues would feature stories from other Sega properties such as Shinobi and Streets of Rage.

- Sonic the Poster Mag #1 contains early Sonic canon content in the form of several screenshots from an early pitch of the Sonic the Hedgehog television series, containing different character designs based on several Sonic the Hedgehog characters including Princess Acorn, Johnny Lightfoot, Joe Sushi, Porker Lewis, Tux, Chirps and Flicky.
