Sonic the Hedgehog Level Creator was an official flash Sonic the Hedgehog game on the PlaySEGA Website. It was developed by Mediatonic and published by Sega.
Gameplay
The game allowed players to play levels created by other people. However, use of the built-in level editor is restricted to VIP members.
The editor displayed a grid interface. Members can add terrain, objects including Rings and the mandatory Goal Plate, and hazards such as Spikes and Badniks onto the grid.
Members would be able to upload their levels onto PlaySEGA once their level is saved. [1] The software is limited to just one graphics set and tune, regardless of the level.
