Sonic the Hedgehog Legacy Bundle is a digital game collection released for Steam and Xbox. It contains several Sonic the Hedgehog games, with different games included depending on where the user bought the bundle. All of the games use the Steam versions, many including achievements and online functionality. Sonic the Hedgehog Legacy Bundle was released on 9 September 2024,[1] in response to the delisting of the original Sonic Generations in anticipation of the then-upcoming release of Sonic X Shadow Generations, with SEGA still wanting players to have the option to download the original version of the game.[2]
As of December 6, 2024, it is also the only method to buy a new copy of Sonic the Fighters (2012) on Xbox, as it was delisted from individual sale alongside other Sega Classics.[3]
As of December 9 2024, Sonic Spinball and Sonic 3D Blast and other Sega Classics were delisted from sale on the Steam Store, and hence were removed from the bundle.[3]
