Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is an upcoming live action film and the fourth entry in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures, as well as the sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog 3.[2] Little is known about the project as of January 2025, besides the fact that the third film's post-credits scene set it up by introducing characters from the games, as has happened in previous entries.[2] The film is scheduled to be released in Spring 2027.
