Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is a web-based game made to promote the film of the same name.[1]
Gameplay[]
When the player starts the game, they have the option to play as either Sonic, Tails, Knuckles or Shadow.
Once the character is selected, the player will then be put into a maze and collect a lore-inaccurate number of Chaos Emeralds with the goal being to collect them all with a limited number of moves. By swiping the screen in a certain direction, the character will move there, allowing the player to collect the emeralds.
There are a total of three stages to complete, those being London, Tokyo, and the Eclipse Cannon.

- This game plays pretty similarly to the Sonic the Hedgehog (web game).
- The character select screen features an instrumental version of the song "Anywhere but Here" by Easton.
- The game could be accessed either through the official Happy Meal site or by scanning a QR code printed on Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Happy Meal boxes.
